TL;DR wanna watch me in a livestream/googlehangout?
So I don’t know if this would be considered something along the lines of a text anxiety type of thing, but I sketch figures, A LOT, and I feel pretty darn comfortable about sketching human bodies hands and feet, because I love them so much.
BUT WHEN IT COMES TO inking them into a paneled comic setting I just … freeze and forget how hands work, I forget what feet actually look like and I forget proportions of different age groups. I’m never happy with how anybody looks when drawing a comic page. I need to give myself some ideas to practice laying out panels, BUT THAT’S REALLY JUST TAKING TIME AWAY FROM ACTUALLY MAKING MY COMIC ISN’T IT? :C
The real practice would just come from creating the pages, but I keep making excuses as to why I’m not ready to follow through with them.
I think I’m beginning to understand what needs to be done. Anyone wanna livestream/googlehangout with me while I draw these comic pages?
Reblogging from myself for the morning crowd~!!! A little Felyne sketch from Monster Hunter! I want to make more of these…

Anyone who watches my blog gonna be in Seattle for Lucy Knisley’s booksigning?
Wanna meet up, so I don’t have to go alone? 8D
Okay, so, I’ll admit, I’m a little worried that my bug magical girl designs look like generic japanese magical girls.
I never really gave much thought into them more than that. This mini is so I can think of a project and follow it through to the end…. is this just lazy of me? Am I concerned about this too much?
Guys I am tipsy, so this would be the best time to take requests, don’t you think?
Request away, friends!
I have a lot of respect for Ze Frank, and I adored his year-long project, The Show. So many people have said things similar to this, but it’s always a good thing to hear again. In summary: if you want to make stuff, make stuff. It’s the only way you’ll get past the point of making things to the point of having made stuff. Then you get to make more stuff. So go make stuff!

Incredible advice by a man I’ve long admired.
Reblogging to my art tumblr, because this is so needed in my life.
